Aileen graduated from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Harvard University, under the supervision of Professor David Mooney. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her M.S. in Bioengineering from Harvard University. Her research interest is engineering novel biomaterials based strategies to enable robust cancer vaccination. Her work has been published in many high impact peer reviewed journals such as Nature Biotechnology and she is the recipient of a number of competitive awards including the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship and the Harvard University Pierce Fellowship.
